One of the Strategies for Crime Prevention is "Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design" (CPTED) which was presented by the American Criminologist C. Ray Jeffery in 1971. This theory is based on the fact that human behavior is influenced by the design of the environment. The purpose of this study is to provide a localized checklist based on the CPTED principles in order to identify and assess deficiencies and weaknesses in urban areas and environments. The methodology of this study was based on library research, review of articles and a questionnaire. In order to achieve the aforementioned, a questionnaire was designed based on Likert 5-point scale and distributed among a target community of 44 people including park security staff and visitors. Completed questionnaires were then entered in software and for each rule the most replicated (Mode) was selected as the answer. Analysis showed that the park's status is not favorable in some environmental indicators. The medium option with 17 repeats was 37 %, options low and very high with 12 and 10 repeats had respectively 26% and 22% of the total answers. The results of the study show that the main design weaknesses are in sight lines, lighting, and hidden paths and spaces. M3 ER -
