Reflection on components affecting social vitality in botanical gardens(Case Study: Visitors to Eram botanical garden of Shiraz city). Haft Hesar J Environ Stud 2018; 6 (23) :31-48

Botanical gardens, considered as an urban green space, have the ability to respond to a number of problems created in the modern age by urbanization through three roles of conservation, education and recreation. Liveability is one of the factors that inspired the body of a space. Social vitality can be considered as good conditions for walking and walking, along with opportunities for snapping, stopping, and gaining experience, which provides the capacity to provide more options for the social and selective activities of individuals in space. Considering the green space, it is important to pay attention to the environmental needs of the urban population as well as the provision of leisure spaces and the context of its communication and social interaction. In this regard, the effort of this research is to achieve an architectural and applied design, in order to explain how social vitality as one of the key concepts in the architectural alphabet can help to formulate the principles of today's botanical garden design. Also, spaces for breeding and displaying flowers and plants in a structured body that allow human-to-person-to-face communication within society to ultimately lead to social vitality and meet the needs of society in this regard as much as possible, and in Maintaining and strengthening the current urban identity and the future of the metropolis of Shiraz will be effective in promoting urban vitality. A sample sampling method was used to determine the sample size. During the week, 175 people were questioned. Also, for determining the validity, formal content and for determining the reliability of the questionnaire, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used, and the resulting coefficient is 0.886, which is at a high level. To analyze the data, the data were transferred to (SPSS-20) software, using frequency tables and indicators such as minimum, maximum, mean, and standard deviation for describing the data. The results show that what plays a role in the formation of the social vitality of the vegetation gardens is due to three main components with the titles of "identity and adaptability (flexibility)", "access and walking", "stretching, attraction and diversity" Space "with the sub-variables of each of them. Also, the average score of respondents was 0.44 above average, which is 3, which is significant due to the amount of T obtained (T = 29.55) with a degree of freedom of 174 at 95% level. Therefore, the importance of the influence of the components of the social vitality of the space on the presence and use of citizens from the Eram Botanical Garden is significantly more than average.
