Introduction: The rapid increase in urbanization, accompanied by the influx of immigrants and newcomers to urban areas, has presented cities with numerous challenges and dilemmas. Suburban housing is a manifestation of the lack of desirable housing standards. Mashhad's Darvey neighborhood is one of the suburban areas in the eastern part of Mashhad, characterized by low housing quality, particularly in the physical sector. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate and prioritize the criteria and components of desirable physical quality housing in the suburban context of Darvey neighborhood.
