The results of this study indicate that social components are highly significant in the design of contemporary housing with an emphasis on cultural and social identity. The social-functional-performance component, with a weight of 0.75, emphasizes the necessity for housing to meet functional needs and facilitate social activities for residents. The social-political-national identity component, with a weight of 0.89, highlights the prominent role of national and cultural identity in the housing design process, positioning housing not just as a physical structure, but as a symbol of social identity. Furthermore, the social-environmental and social-functional components, with weights of 0.77 and 0.83, underline the importance of social interactions, environmental sustainability, and fostering a sense of belonging among residents. These findings emphasize the crucial role of housing in enhancing quality of life and strengthening social cohesion in Ahvaz city. The final conclusion of this research demonstrates that industrial housing design in Ahvaz must seriously consider social, cultural, and environmental components. The high significance of the identified components suggests that contemporary housing should not only meet economic needs but also preserve and enhance the identity of the residents.
