Comparative analysis of the visibility component in the study of Safavid and Ottoman government gardens with Space Syntax approachIranian garden, as one of the manifestations of world gardening, while having a specific pattern, has many variations in its components. This diversity with the simplicity of the form and pattern of the Iranian garden has caused the emergence of complex concepts and different functions. On the other hand, the gardens of the Ottoman rule in Turkey are completely organic and influenced by the Ottoman culture, a culture that has grown and perfected over many centuries.
The examination of Ottoman gardens indicates that it originated from the feedback of different imported cultural roots from different regions of the world with different climatic conditions. One of these imported cultures is the culture of Iranian architecture. One of the important concepts in Islamic-Iranian architecture is the characteristic and component of aristocracy, which is observed in all Iranian architecture. Aristocracy, as one of the main characteristics of Iranian-Islamic architecture, has always been the focus of researchers and designers.
The issue of prohibition of aristocracy emphasizes on keeping the inner space safe from the sight and aristocracy of foreigners and can be examined with the tools of "visibility control" and "distance". Based on this, the main objective of the research is the comparative analysis of the aristocracy component in the study of Safavid and Ottoman government gardens on the behavior of human space.
The approach of space syntax in architecture has the ability to identify spatial relationships and the ability to analyze and compare similar spaces. Therefore, in the present research, in the first step, by collecting information from library studies and theoretical literature, and finally developing a measurement model, and in the second step, in addition to introducing measurement tools, spatial analysis and interpretation of modeling based on the spatial syntax approach with the help of Depth map software, based on the main research question has taken The results show that legibility indicators, orientation and spatial configuration have been identified as the main indicators affecting the level of aristocracy, and the measures and sub-indices related to them have been quantitatively interpreted and analyzed.
